I love the smart design of this sandals. Of course first I love the way they look, although I wish that the footbed is black.
Size is true to my regular US size - 9.5-10, I bought 40. My feet are medium to narrow and Velcro adjustments help with the fine tunning to proper size for me.
But the most important is the amazing lightness of these sandals. I have problems with my lumbar spine and sandals that are heavy cause pain immediately.
This was my very first purchase of Mephisto sandals and my hopes were not very high after returning previously Birkenstock sandal due to straps being to firm and scratching my feet.
I hope that the website is going to mention the weight of the shoes/sandals/boots in the future because that would help me to make my final decision about a purchase. (I have found this info about Madison on another website).
I am sure that I will continue to be Mephisto customer in the future.

I love the look of the sandals. They are very comfortable. I did have an issue with the underside of one of the straps on the right shoe. A few pieces of very sharp, stiff stitching stuck out and was painful on my skin, causing an abrasion. I got a small, sharp pair of embroidery scissors to snip them down and applied beeswax to try to soften the area. Today I'm wearing them for the second time, with a band aid on my abraded skin. Seems to be working so far.

I love the look of these- the buckles & how the straps are different colors. You can dress them up or wear just casual. It’s winter, so have not been able to wear them yet… looking forward to wearing them this summer!

These sandals are beautiful and can be dressed up or down. I love Mephisto sandals and own 5 pair. I need orthotics in my shoes but not with these. I can walk miles in them, comfortably.
