MEPHISTO FAUVE | Women Ankle Boots With Heel Black Leather Smooth. This ankle boot is perfect for anyone seeking a piece with character. The SOFT-AIR midsole contributes to absorbing the shocks inherent in walking and promotes a healthy climate inside the shoe. The AIR-RELAX technology respects the anatomy of the foot to prevent fallen arches. An elastic on the outside is associated with an inside side zipper which allows easy and effortless donning, to which is also added a buckle with adjustable strap adorning the side of the shoe. The leather lining ensures a healthy climate inside the shoe.
THE PROPER FIT FACTOR
You may have never experienced properly fitting footwear; it may be that Mephisto will fit differently than any shoe you have ever worn. This is a common experience and it should be noted that proper fit is critical to comfort. With walking, it is important to give your toes a substantial degree of freedom. They should never be “locked in”, one against another. Mephisto shoes should provide plenty of room in the toe area. The same thinking applies to your heel. The Mephisto heel is not designed to fit snug. A comfortable walking shoe will flex and bend with your foot. Your foot should be cradled, not bound. A properly fitting shoe should not have to be “broken in” to be comfortable…they should be comfortable from the very first step you take.
Sizing
Sizing can vary from style to style which means you may not wear the same size in all your shoes. Also, our sandals are available in full sizes only. If you are normally a half size in a Mephisto shoe, you should size up to the next size.
