I love the shape of this shoe-I did not get it for striding out of doors -more for gliding on the dance floor. The curve in the arch and softer construction allows for more flexion in your foot and bend to raise on your toes for a lighter step. The leather is very fine and luxurious. I have a wide front foot and narrow heel so the velcro straps and open toe are the only way I can get a good fit in any shoe. I would buy this style again in another color if it came out again but also in the mule style. I will go down a size next time-I do not need the extra length when I can adjust the width at the front. I love the shoes with Velcro straps rather than buckles. They are easy to adjust and add more comfort. Over all I love Mephisto shoes. I also love shoes with bling.
