Wonderful sole for those with arthritic big sole. The sole is not too flexible, and not too stiff. The "slant" on the sold is good as it doesn't put too much pressure on the big toe. I also have a Tailor bunion on the outside of my baby toe. This shoe is wide enough to accommodate the bunion and the wide straps hide the bunion. I have a small ankle and only wish that I could adjust the back strap a little tighter around the ankle. A shoemaker can likely make that strap a little smaller around the heel or a piece of moleskin behind the strap will tighten it. All round the best shoe yet for arthritic big toes.

I've been buy Mephisto shoes for a long time and, as usual, these yellow sandals do not disappoint. I'd rather spend $300 on shoes and $10 on clothes. I bought some Skechers and they don't hold a candle to the quality and comfort of Mephisto. I'm up there in age but firmly believe that just because the years are getting along doesn't mean we have to wear ugly shoes. These ae attractive and good for my feet.

Love at first sight! These are beautiful sandals, and as lovely as they are, they are even more comfortable. If all shoes in the world would have been as comfortable as these, humanity would have been calmer and kinder.
