THE PROPER FIT FACTOR
You may have never experienced properly fitting footwear; it may be that Mephisto will fit differently than any shoe you have ever worn. This is a common experience and it should be noted that proper fit is critical to comfort. With walking, it is important to give your toes a substantial degree of freedom. They should never be “locked in”, one against another. Mephisto shoes should provide plenty of room in the toe area. The same thinking applies to your heel. The Mephisto heel is not designed to fit snug. A comfortable walking shoe will flex and bend with your foot. Your foot should be cradled, not bound. A properly fitting shoe should not have to be “broken in” to be comfortable…they should be comfortable from the very first step you take.
Sizing
Sizing can vary from style to style which means you may not wear the same size in all your shoes. Also, our sandals are available in full sizes only. If you are normally a half size in a Mephisto shoe, you should size up to the next size. Below are some size conversion charts which offer general guidelines for converting your size to another scale.

Fantastic!
I love my Mephisto Zaverio Fit clogs. They are very comfortable and my Size 11 W foot fits perfectly into a size 43. My only complaint is that the black dye rubbed off onto my very expensive prescription skin coloured compression stockings and still continues to rub off despite multiple wearings. I now wear a short sock over my compression hose which is not a great look and a little thick but it works for the most part.
The best for around the house and I have a pair at every place I work! Haven’t been without a pair in 25 Years.
Love my Mephisto’s, I just had knee replacement surgery and they are giving me the additional support I need while going through this. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned ❤️
This is my second pair of black Zaverios (plus additional brown). Each one has been refurbished and lasts another two+ years. Absolutely love them. Once I slip on any Mephisto it fits like a slipper. Bruce Whittier

I have been a Birkenstock wearer for many years. I tried a pair of Mephisto sandals and loved them. I now have two pairs of Mephisto sandals. I decided to try a pair of the clogs and I love them too. They are a little higher in the back and I find them more comfortable. I just wish there were a few more styles in the wider width.

I have had this shoe about 10 years ago.. That pair is worn out and so I have replaced with the same quality, comfortable shoe.
My 3rd pair in 12+ years. Fantastic...love them. Also recommended to my sister who also has a few pairs of the sandals. We bought for plantar fasciitis relief. The first pair split across the outsole on one of the clogs after a few years which may have been caused by the size being one up as the store didn't have my size (6)?? Not sure really. Second replacement pair (right size) lasted for years as well until the leather insole started to wear in spots making it uncomfortable as I'm barefoot wearing clogs. Took to a shoemaker and got them resoled for $80. Worth it since the outer shoe shape was still good. But over time, the outer shoe does show wear and tear/cracks. Eventually, the same wear on the insole started up. I can still wear with socks but decided to purchase my 3rd pair. Fit great, feels great! But I am slightly concerned how this new suede sole will hold up...time will tell. Although I no longer have plantar faciisitis Mephisto clogs are the only everyday shoe I wear. They are worth the money to me.
I have always loved Mephisto footwear.
Loved them from the beginning, wore them everyday. Not even a year in they developed a lump on the outside of the shoe on the foot bed. Hurt to wear! This is c my second pair of these that have done this. ☹️ So disappointed!!!
The color of the brown clog looks more like a burgundy/brown. Not loving the color at all. One clog of the pair has nice soft leather. The other one is much thicker and stiffer. Had to apply leather conditioner to attempt to soften them up. Just barely wide enough to accommodate a very slight bunion. Can’t wear a sock, unless very thin. The width of the clog is similar to other Mephisto shoes I’ve had in the past. They do hold the foot in much more comfortably and securely than the various sandals I’ve owned from Mephisto. This shoe is more stable than the sandal with the same Fit sole. I twisted my ankle in those several times.
Love these!! They are my daily go to. We’re comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in period or anything. The sole is cushioning but supports in all the right places. The only shoes I want to wear all day. They are great for foot issues. Definitely highly recommended!
These shoes are of high quality and are very comfortable. Wear them around the house initially to break them in for ultimate.

These are my second pair of Mephisto clogs my previous pair lasted 10+years and the only sandals I wear are the Zach ones and those I am on my third pair. I have exclusively been wearing Mephisto shoes for over 20 years I love them
Well here’s my story I bought the Zac fit 3 strap 4 yrs ago and I can hardly wear anything else because Mephisto has the best arch ever!! So I decided to treat myself to the clog version. I have only tried it on thus far but it’s perfect comfort…BirkenstockS no longer have any arch at all to me

I have two pairs of these - black and brown. They are very comfortable, likely more durable than Birkenstocks and, apparently, becoming trendy as well. My wife is a little sick of them as I wear them all the time. Kids think that they are cool.

I wear a 37 in Helen and ordered a 37 in this model. The fit is consistent. I haven’t taken them off since they arrived! I wish they came in graphite too.
I didn't realize that it would be delivered so quickly, we ordered the shoes actually for Father's day for my husband, as he so loved his other older pair which finally gave up the ghost after a couple of decades. So he has not received them yet but I am counting on easy return to your company if it does not fit properly.

I had two pairs of Zaverio clogs a long time ago and i was very satisfy. I had them for many years. recently i decided to buy a new pair. Iremembered the quality of the product. I am very happy with my new buy!
Comfy but Noisy! I’m a night nurse with sore tired feet, the second I put these on my feet they felt amazing. But after two shifts they became very noisy, they creek as I walk and actually wake up my patients!
